Day 1 : Marrakech – High Atlas – Telouat Kasbah – Ait Ben Haddou – Ounila Valley – Ouarzazate

 

Once we convene at our designated meeting point, our journey commences towards the southeastern region, venturing through the majestic High Atlas mountains. Our route encompasses the renowned Tizi N’Tichka pass, towering at an elevation of 2,260 meters, marking the pinnacle of our national landscape.

Immerse yourself in the captivating panoramas that unfold along the way, punctuated by stops to capture the charm of Berber villages through the lens. Subsequently, we’ll embark on a scenic route leading to Telouat Kasbah, an architectural gem steeped in history. Following a tour of the kasbah, indulge in the flavors of traditional cuisine at your leisure.

As the day unfolds, we traverse the picturesque Ounila valley, offering glimpses into the tranquil life of Berber communities nestled amidst the rugged terrain. Day 2 : Ouarzazate – Draa Valley – Merzouga Desert – Camel Ride And Night In The Berber Tent.

 

Following a hearty breakfast, our journey commences towards the enchanting Draa Valley, home to one of Morocco’s longest rivers. Along the route, we pause at strategic points to capture the breathtaking vistas of kasbahs, Berber villages, and the natural splendor that adorns the Draa Valley.

Our itinerary includes a delightful stopover in either Nkob or Alnif for a sumptuous lunch, before embarking on a two-hour drive to the mesmerizing Merzouga dunes. Upon arrival, we transition from motorized vehicles to camelback for an authentic desert experience.

As dusk falls, we arrive at our desert camp, where traditional Berber tents, crafted from camel hair, await our accommodation. Delight in a delectable dinner under the celestial canopy of a star-studded sky, nestled within the heart of the desert.

 

Day 3 : Merzouga Desert – Rissani Market – Erfoud Fossil’s – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley.

 

Join our team bright and early for an unforgettable sunrise experience atop the dunes of the Sahara Desert, followed by a delightful breakfast. After relishing these magical moments, embark on a camelback journey back to your hotel or riad.

Following a satisfying breakfast, we’re treated to panoramic views of the picturesque Dades Valley from a strategically positioned lookout nestled amidst the mountains. Marvel at the myriad kasbahs dotting the landscape, each boasting its unique charm and allure.

Continuing our journey along the scenic route adorned with captivating kasbahs, we pause intermittently to soak in the beauty of the famed “Thousand Kasbahs Road,” traversing the enchanting Roses Valley and the expansive Skoura palm grove.
