1. day :Marrakech –Imi oughlad –Tizi n’tachte –Tiziane :

Explore an early morning journey from Marrakech, then our of 4 Days Berber village’s  venturing southward through the picturesque Moulay Brahim Gorge and upper valleys. As we ascend to the higher foothills of the Western High Atlas Mountains, we’ll reach our starting point at Imi Oughlad (1450m). Here, the majestic Jbel Toubkal, North Africa’s highest peak at 4167m, along with Aglzim (3650m) and Aksoual (3884m),so greet us. We’ll meet our Berber muleteer crew and commence our trek northwestward,

 Ascending switchback mule tracks for an acclimatization hike of about 2 hours. Passing by cornfields, pine, and juniper woods, we’ll reach Tiz n’tachete (2000m), offering panoramic views of the Imlikl and Ait Oussaden valleys. After a brief stop for a field picnic at Imi n’ifri, we’ll continue our leisurely hike for approximately 2.5 hours southwestward along a dirt track to Tiziane (1750m), nestled in the red clay terraced village, where we’ll spend the night in our bivouac or gite.

2. day :tizziane – tizi n’taghrhourte – D’knt :

 

Following breakfast, we’ll experience a scenic hike along the Assif n’Ait Oussaden valley, passing walnut groves and ascending to Tizi n’taghrhourte (1995m). From there, we’ll traverse a rare, almost flat stretch and arrive at Assaka Spring, our of 4 Days Berber village’s  where we’ll enjoy a field picnic amidst serene surroundings after about 2.5 hours of relatively easy walking. Our afternoon journey leads us down the forest edges until we reach the Berber village of D’knt (1870m) or Agouns n Assoul, where we’ll dine and spend the night in a bivouac or gite.

3. day : D’knt – tizi n’tagdalte – tizi oussem :

 

Our morning begins with a 3-hour hike through walnut groves, corn and barley fields, and encounters with shepherds and locals carrying loads of faggots and dried herbs. Crossing Tizi n’tagdalte, we descend among juniper trees until reaching a small spring nestled amidst the trees, so where we’ll pause for a picnic. Afterward, we’ll trek down winding tracks for about 3 hours,and  reaching a small river at the entrance of the Assif n’Ait Oussaden valley. Continuing, we’ll enter the village of Tizi Oussem (1850m) and ascend to the summer village of Tamsoult for our camp or gite.

4. day : Azib Tamsoult– Tizi M’zzik — Imlil :

Start the day trekking to a small waterfall at Azib Tamsoult before crossing the Tizi ‘n Mzik pass (2500m). Descending, we join the main Toubkal valley at Imlil (1900m), where we’ll enjoy lunch before driving back to Marrakech.
